REMINDERS FOR YOUR HANDS AND FEET, CUZ WE ALL NEED THEM

Between school, work, and a busy social calendar, keeping your hands and feet on point, can sometimes be a task in itself.  So we’ve put together a list of our daily, weekly and every so often reminders, to help ya out.

DAILY REMINDERS: 

Water

The skin on the back of your hands is thinner than any other part of your body, even your face and shows age first! Drinking lots of water every day is necessary to keep the skin on your hands and feet hydrated, from the inside, out.

Cuticle Oil

Your nails need hydration daily for optimum health. Cuticle oil is one of the few products able to penetrate the skin around the cuticle area to hydrate the nails properly.  Toe nails get dehydrated and thicker with age, making them prone to cracking, ingrowns and cause pain.  Using a hydrating oil on your toe nails daily will keep the nails flexible and nourished

Nail Brush  Using a nail brush daily, (we keep ours in the shower) keeps the underside of your nails clean and free of germs. It also helps to remove dead skin from the cuticle area, as well as, the movement stimulates the blood vessels underneath the nail plate, to promote healthy nail growth

 

WEEKLY REMINDERS

Use a Shiner on your nails weekly

Using a 3 or 4 way shiner on your nails, does a few things: 1. the movement, stimulates the blood vessels in the nail bed, to promote healthy nail growth.  2. This same movement stimulation, brings up the nail oils of your nail bed, through the nail plate to help hydrate. 3. It seals the top layers and edge of your nail creating a smooth surface and nail durability.

Callous smoother Using a Callous smoother weekly will help tame the roughness and help your pedicure last longer between salon visits.

 

EVERY SO OFTEN REMINDERS

Honey

Apply raw honey to the back of your hands and feet, every so often, will help thwart off the signs of aging by giving giving your skin the hydration it needs.  Honey is a natural hydrator and draws moisture quickly into your skin.  (works great on your face too!)

Have your own ‘at home’ spa day with a friend.  Bring a friend over for some mani’s and margi’s every-so-often, to give each other mani/pedis.  This will give you time to catch up with some over due girl talk, make your nails gorgeous, and have lots of fun!
